Piccola Cucina Uptown
Piccola Cucina Uptown, located right across from Central Park, is the jewel in the crown, one of Uptown New York’s most sophisticated restaurants, which opened in the horrible year of 2020 but survived. The good news is that it has expanded to the point where an expansion was necessary.
Guardione, his wife and childrens opened the restaurant’s second floor in May 2023, which features a pleasant bar, an open kitchen with a Spanish grill and an outdoor terrace for summer evenings.

Philip Guardione says
“To thrive abroad, the most important factor is the ingredient that must excel. In New York the customer is multinational, people prefer to eat something they can recognize. In my opinion, this is the most difficult place to visit because you can eat well everywhere and the quality is excellent. In our situation, Americans want to repeat their experiences in their home region, such as a trip to Sicily“.
